Dr. Makary is VezaHealth's Chief Medical Advisor.  He is a practicing physician at Johns Hopkins Hospital, specializing in surgical oncology.  He is also a New York Times best-selling author.  Unaccountable is a physician-written narrative about the challenges of the U.S. health care system.

Mrs. Zavada is the founder of VezaHealth.  She founded VezaHealth out of a need to bring both quality and cost to the forefront of health care services.  VezaHealth seeks to address these issues by ensuring the care patients receive is not only medically necessary, but appropriate too based on the individual patient.
